  • At E Comm, we achieved quite a few global benchmarks. Our Broadband service, alwaysONnet, launched in October 1999, provides always-on broadband connectivity at a price lower than dialup. It was her efforts which lead to “Death of Dial Up and Birth of Broadband”
  • Introduced VEN (Virtual E Network). A cost-effective solution for Brokers and Sub Brokers to do real time trading. Ours was the first operational broadband network in India.
  • alwaysONnet is based on an innovative ItE technology (Internet thru Ethernet), which could cover a radius of 10 km from the POP and create a very stable broadband network at the lowest cost in the world of just $25/subscriber including the Ethernet card.
  • Comparable technologies like DSL, CMTS cost over $200 / subscriber including the modem. Using this technology, a 250-km backbone network was laid in Ahmedabad with 7 strategically located POPs. This technology was sold to 2 more regional ISPs in India.
