Education is inversely proportional to unemployment and poverty, whilst unemployment and poverty are directly proportional to each other. For any country to be prosperous, it is required that citizens are educated because education brings in employment, eradicates poverty and helps build a healthy, positive society. Unemployment and poverty are the root cause of a decayed society and terrorism. Education not only improves quality of life but also brings economic prosperity to the nation and we should make education accessible.
The first and foremost thing required is to make primary education compulsory and see that it is effectively implemented. Adult education should be also be strongly enforced along with allied infrastructure support like access to books, learning material, buildings and teachers.
In rural areas and at the grassroots level, awareness on education should be created by setting up special camps that talk about requirement and how it would help employment. Placement cells can also help. Teaching methods should be student-friendly, interactive and interesting to create interest.
The government should have special training and employment-generating schemes, and take steps to boost the agricultural sector by bringing in more scientific methods to aid farmers. Private sectors should be encouraged to set up industries in the rural sector to boost employment |
